Booking Terms and Conditions
If you have not already done so we will require you to provide the full details of a current valid credit or debit card on check in.
Please show consideration to other guests and to members of staff at Netley Hall and have respect for the cottage that you are in.
Please ensure prior to checking out that your cottage is left in the same clean and tidy condition as you found it. All kitchenware should be washed and put away. In the event that the cottage is not left as you found it we reserve the right to make an additional cleaning charge to your credit card of up to £50.
You will be held responsible for any damage occurred during your stay. We reserve the right to charge you, during or after your stay for any loss or damage to the cottage. We reserve the right to enter the property at any time for any reason. Please do not remove items from your cottage even if they are left in other cottages or other parts of the estate. Any missing items will be charged to your credit card.
Please check your cottage carefully prior to you leaving as we do not accept liability for things left behind.
If you have special requirements please let us know at the time of the booking. We will try our best to meet these requirements but they cannot always be guaranteed.
Should you have family/friends staying in the area, you are welcome to entertain them in your cottage. We do ask however that you advise us of the registration number of any vehicle being left on the estate over night for security purposes.
Arrival and departure times
Your cottage keys will be available on the day of arrival, Monday to Saturday at the Estate office between 2pm -5.30pm. Please bring your confirmation of booking with you. If you have not previously supplied it, your credit card details will be required on check in. Checking in at any other time can be done by prior arrangement with the Estate office. Please check out no later than 10am on the day of departure. Late check outs will incur an additional charge equivalent to one extra night’s stay.
Changing the date of your booking
Please inform the Estate Office immediately should you wish to change the date of your stay. All changes are subject to availability and will incur a £20 (plus vat) booking fee. You will also incur additional charges if the cost of the cottage is higher. If you wish to change your booking it must be done by telephone and then confirmed in writing.
Where you have booked with us via a voucher or by utilising a special discount of any kind bookings cannot be altered once made.
Cancellation of your booking
Please inform the Estate Office immediately should you wish to cancel your booking. If you wish to cancel your booking it must be done by telephone and then confirmed in writing.
Where you have booked with us via a voucher or by utilising a special discount of any kind bookings may be cancelled but there will be no refund due. All other bookings if cancelled will be entitled to refund in full provided the cancellation is made no later than 3 months before the first date of your proposed stay.
Cancellation or Changes of your booking by us
If for any reason we have to change or cancel a booking we will advise you as soon as possible in writing, and either provide you with an alternative cottage comparable to the one booked, or a full refund.
Our cottage descriptions will show the ideal number that the cottage will sleep. Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons indicated occupy a cottage, as this nullifies the insurance in case of an accident. We do not provide cots for children or babies.
Children aged twelve years and under may not be left alone without full adult supervision. Children remain the responsibility of parents or guardians at all times.
Breakages & Damage
With all holiday bookings, card details will be taken and retained on file. In the event of any breakages or damage to the cottage or its contents your card will be charged and an invoice sent to you via email or mail.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms in the cottages; we reserve the right to charge you a cleaning fee of (£100 plus vat) when a smell of smoke is present.
Pets are not permitted in any of the cottages. We will charge you an additional cleaning fee of £100 plus vat where this rule has been breached. Assistance dogs are accepted by prior arrangement.
Fuel, Water & Heating
There is no extra charge for electricity, water, gas and heating.
Your vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk.
Guests may use the fishery. The cost to do so is £10 per day for up to two rods per person. Our Fishery rules are posted on our website and must be adhered to.
Wifi is available to purchase in your cottage for £10 for your entire stay. You can either pre book this by ringing us and making a Card Payment or you can purchase it during your stay, at our reception. The wifi in the cottages is satellite wifi and each cottage has their own router and password.
